What could make a steak better?.. Wrap it in bacon! These AA 4 oz juicy Bacon Wrapped Tenderloins are the perfect steak for every gathering! Ideal for the BBQ, or we like to cook them on the cast iron with some rock salt and then finish them off in the oven for a few minutes.
They are in high demand as they are tender, bursting with flavour and simply delicious.
Format: 2 Steaks vacuumed and sealed for guaranteed freshness—16 steaks in total.
Cooking Instructions for Cast Iron:
You will need butter, salt and pepper and your cast iron pan.
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
- Generously salt and pepper on both sides of the steak.
- Heat your Cast Iron over medium-high heat. Add the butter and olive oil. When melted, start to sear the bacon on the exterior for 10 seconds until all the bacon has been seared. Then, sear on both sides until a really nice colour, about 1 minute per side.
- Remove the skillet from the stovetop and place it into the oven to finish cooking. Cook until medium rare, 7 to 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
